Within the framework of the meeting, the possibilities of supporting SMEs through <strong>information and knowledge, innovation and technology, finance and skills development were discussed.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 30, 2024, the Agency for Regional Economic Development - Stara Zagora (SZREDA) organized a meeting with interested parties on projects <strong>GreenSmartMed and COMMIT.<\/strong>. The main topic of the discussion was <strong>the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the industrial transition and decarbonisation.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Grozeva shared <strong>good European practices<\/strong> from working visits to the Netherlands and Slovenia. The examples from the city <strong>Groningen<\/strong> demonstrated the successful use of <strong>hydrogen fuels in transport and co-generation from biomass and solar energy<\/strong>, and the experience of <strong>Velenje<\/strong> demonstrated the transition of a mining town to climate neutrality by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participants united around the need for real measures to support businesses in the region.
