The Internet of Things meets environmental care: trainings under the COALition project

On August 14, 2025, at the new office of Green Balkans in Stara Zagoratwo trainings were held under the project COALition organized by Stara Zagora Regional Economic Development AgencyThe topic? Where digitalization, renewable energy, and nature conservation meet in a common cause.

IoT – the machines that 'see and hear

The first speaker was Stanimir Yovchev from Davd Holdingwho presented the opportunities that IoT can provide for the energy transition. With examples and demonstrations, he showed how data is transformed into 'smart solutions' – machines that not only follow commands, but also observe, analyze and react. Thanks to IoT, we can now manage processes from kilometers away – from energy networks to nature conservation systems.

Digital tools as superpowers for sustainable development

Later, Elena Stoeva from Green Balkans took participants to the world of digital tools for energy transition. She proved that managing complex and large-scale projects can be not only possible but also inspiring when you have the right skills, software solutions and team energy..

Synergy between people and technologies

The two trainings proved clearly that technology is only half of the equation. The other half is people’s willingness to use them for the benefit of sustainable development. When digitalization meets ecology, the result is not only a more efficient energy transition but also better care for our shared future.

Thanks to our hosts fom Green Balkansto our speakers and to all participants. Together, we proved that the transition to a green future can be both a professional challenge and an inspiring adventure.
